Balloons, Big Smiles and Bright Futures at Chichester College Results Day

13 August 2026

Excitement and anticipation filled the air at Chichester College this morning as A Level and T Level students arrived to collect their results and celebrate the next stage of their journeys.

A vibrant balloon arch welcomed students onto campus, setting the tone for a memorable morning as they gathered with friends, family and staff to discover the results of months of hard work and dedication.

From 8.30am today (Thursday 13 August), students made their way to the college canteen, where nerves quickly turned to joy as envelopes were opened and achievements celebrated.

There were smiles, cheers and plenty of emotional moments as students shared their success with loved ones and lecturers, reflecting on their accomplishments and looking ahead to exciting futures in higher education, apprenticeships, employment and further study.

Throughout the morning, the college community came together to celebrate the achievements of this year’s cohort, recognising the commitment, resilience and determination that had brought students to this important milestone. The occasion was marked by a fantastic atmosphere, with students proudly sharing their results and plans for the future.

One student shed tears of joy as she celebrated her results with her supportive family.

Milly Burch Nichols, who studied A Levels in Sociology, Business & Media Studies, secured an impressive A* A A and expressed:

“I genuinely had no idea I would achieve these grades, especially an A* in Business, and I’m so grateful to be celebrating with my family, who have supported me every step of the way.

“I’m proud to have secured a spot at the University of Southampton to study Education Psychology and hope to follow in my amazing mum’s footsteps, as she has always been a huge role model for me.

“I would highly recommend Chichester College as it has helped me grow so much in confidence.”

Another student celebrating exceptional success was Rynel De Souza, who studied a T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development and achieved results beyond his expectations.

Rynel is now preparing for the next stage of his journey after securing a place at the University of Portsmouth to study Cyber Security.

He shared: “I really did not expect these results. I knew I had put the hard work in, but they are better than I could have imagined.

“Now heading off to university, I couldn’t be more excited for what comes next.

Sharing several special moments of his journey, Rynel elaborated on his thoughts towards the college, noting:

“I would encourage anyone looking for a great place to study and develop their independence to come to Chichester College.

“Without a doubt, these have been the best three years of my life, and my lecturer, Nathan Smith, played a huge role in making my time here so special.”
