Hotel Inspector star inspires Chichester College students at Back to Business event  

Hospitality students from Chichester College recently gained valuable industry insights from one of hospitality’s most recognisable figures at the Chichester Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Back to Business event. 

Alex Polizzi, star of Channel 5’s The Hotel Inspector, was a keynote speaker at the event and took the opportunity to meet with students from the college. Sharing her experiences from across the hospitality sector, she offered practical advice, career guidance and a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry today. 

The students also played an active role at the event, directing delegates, providing information and general support around the event.  

This included answering questions, taking photographs during the workshops and learning about the exhibitors so they could recommend relevant stands to attendees during the breaks.  

Several students also had the chance to speak directly with Alex, discussing their career ambitions and even sharing their CVs for feedback and advice.  

Hosted at the University of Chichester, the event welcomed business leaders from across the south for a day of keynote speeches, workshops, discussions and networking.  

The inaugural event, held on Friday 11 September, aims to strengthen partnerships and further support the local economy around Chichester through increasing engagement with local businesses.  

Paul Rolfe, Associate Principal for Employers and Stakeholders at Chichester College Group, and Chair of the Chichester Chamber of Commerce, said:
