C&G 3003-70 L3 Dip in Beauty Therapy Techniques
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy techniques provides you with a range of essential technical skills and knowledge which covers anatomy and physiology, promotion and sales of services and products, massage, advanced electrical facials and electrical body treatments. The course is over 3 days here at college and 1 day work placement, which is arranged prior to starting the course programme.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Completion of your full study programme – Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy with 90% + attendance. Other full time Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualifications could be considered. GCSE grade 4 and above for Maths and English, a successful interview with the Study Programme Manager.
A summer assignment will also be set for completion prior to the start of the programme in September.
Internal Progression students will have additional activities to complete.

Or maybe you would like to further your studies and move on to the Level 4 beauty and salon management courses.
Many large local companies offer career opportunities for beauty therapists such as Butlin’s Ocean Spa, Champneys, Bailiffscourt and Spread Eagle hotels with whom we have built strong links.

There are online multiple choice tests for each practical unit to verify knowledge and understanding, word processed assignments covering the theory units and practical assessments throughout the year relating to each unit. These are graded Pass, Merit, Distinction. You will be offering treatments to external clients to develop communication and time keeping skills.
