Snipping the Competition: Lee Stafford Awards See Chichester College Win Big

Chichester College proved to be a cut above as it was named College of the Year 2026 at a recent Lee Stafford Education (LSE) Competition.  

The award, which ran across all twelve partner college academies, recognised the highest-performing academy across the LSE Group.  

Students from levels one, two and three Hairdressing also took part in a variety of individual categories, recognising each student’s talent.  

One of these competitors was Millie Stimpson, who finished runner-up in the LSE Pink Scissors triple ‘A’ award 2026, an award which recognises rising stars and future industry leaders.  

For this competition, one student from each of LSE’s 12 partner colleges was selected by their tutors, with all their evidence then submitted and reviewed by an expert panel of judges, including Lee Stafford himself.  

Other students recognised included:  

  • Colour, cut and styling Level 3 Winner – Beth Kemp  
  • Colour, cut and styling Level 3 Highly Commended – Nicola Fradley.  
  • Styling Level 2 Highly Commended – Alice Latimer  
  • Styling Level 2 Highly Commended – Ruby Yates  
  • LSE Pink Scissors triple ‘A’ award 2026 runner-up – Millie Stimpson    

This follows on from an award-winning period for Lee Stafford Education, as they won the Hairdressers Journal British hairdressing business awards for 2026 in March.  

The award recognised each and every partner college and their lecturers for delivering the LSE standardised recipes to their students throughout the academic year.

“It was also lovely to see so many of our students recognised for their hard work across the college, which is a testament to the dedication, resilience and passion that defines our college community.”
