COURSE OVERVIEW
This one-year course will give you a qualification around the context of coaching and PE.
The course is very practically based however presentations and written work/PC work will be required to show evidence in session plans and theoretical work linked to the context of coaching.
The candidate will also be asked to coach in a school for two hours a week as a group, which will be provided by the College. This applied approach is important to build the necessary tools to enhance and develop the candidate’;s future coaching journey.

This course is designed for anyone who is looking to further their journey in coaching or PE teaching.
A full interview will be required to check that it is the correct course, alternatives will be discussed at interview.
Successful completion of GCSE or Functional Skills Maths and English prior to starting this course is encouraged and a progression from a Level 2 Coaching or Sports Course is advisable.
