Emergency First Aid at Work

COURSE OVERVIEW

Candidates will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including:

  • Managing an unresponsive casualty
  • CPR
  • Choking
  • Shock
  • Wounds
  • Bleeding and minor injuries.

Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) has 1 unit that delegates are required to complete in order to achieve the qualification:

  • Emergency First Aid in the Workplace

This course runs from 9.30am to 4.30 and is also delivered at our Crawley Campus.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.

There are no formal entry requirements. Candidates should be physically fit to enable them to fully participate in the course. Acceptance onto course is subject to review at first session
