C&G 7290-13 L3 VRQ Dip Vehicle Maint (MV)
COURSE OVERVIEW
Looking for a career in the motor vehicle industry or just have a passion for motor vehicles? This course is designed to meet the needs of learners who are looking to develop their motor vehicle maintenance and repair skills with a view to gaining employment in the motor vehicle industry. The qualification covers a broad range of subjects across the motor vehicle maintenance area.
FURTHER INFORMATION
You will have completed a level 1 & 2 course, such as the City and Guilds 4290 or 7290, and You will have achieved a Functional Skills Level 2 (or GCSE grade 4 and above) in both Maths and English Language. You will have 85% attendance to all aspects of your study programme. You will also need to complete a successful interview with the Study Programme Leader.
If you find employment within the timeframe you can be upgraded from the VRQ full time course to a NVQ apprenticeship. Once this course is completed you may be able to be employed by one of our exciting local franchise companies such as Rolls Royce.
The course is broken down into units where you will have both practical and written assessments and assignments to complete plus an on-line technical exam at the end of each unit.
There is a course Supplement fee of £165 for Safety equipment, tools and training resources which is payable prior to enrolment.
Learners will need to come equipped with safety boots and overalls
