COURSE OVERVIEW
Looking for a career in the motor vehicle industry or just have a passion for motor vehicles? This course is designed to meet the needs of learners who are looking to develop their motor vehicle maintenance and repair skills with a view to gaining employment in the motor vehicle industry. The qualification covers a broad range of subjects across the motor vehicle maintenance area.
FURTHER INFORMATION
You will have successfully completed a level 1 course such as the City and Guilds 4290 or 7290. You will have achieved a Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE grade 4 and above in Maths or English. You will have 85% attendance to all aspects of your study programme. You will also need to complete a successful interview with the course tutor.
With appropriate employment you can progress from this course to an apprenticeship, or the next level up after, which is the VRQ level 3. Also there are many exciting career opportunities available at local franchises such as Jaguar, Ford or Mercedes.
The course is broken down into units where students have both a practical and written assessments and on-line exams.. The full assessment methods will be discussed during interview.
There is a course Supplement fee of £175 for Safety equipment, tools and training resources which is payable prior to enrolment.
Learners will need to attend equipped with safety boots and overalls
