COURSE OVERVIEW
This 1 day course is designed to assist you if you will be applying for a personal licence to serve alcohol. Licensing Authorities now require those who wish to hold a Personal Licence to give proof of their understanding of Licensing Law, this qualification meets these requirements and is an approved qualification.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Anyone can join this course however you must be 18 years or older to apply for a personal licence.
You do not require any experience or prior qualifications although industry experience may be helpful. A suitable level of literacy is required to sit the exam. If you require additional exam support or if English is not your first language then please contact the admissions department directly at least 1 month prior to the course.
A course book will be sent out to you upon enrolment. Please read this before attending the course.
On successful completion of this course you may apply to your local licensing authority for a personal license.
This will enable you to authorise the sale of alcohol on licenced premises. It will also allow you to take on the role of a DPS.
You will sit an examination. Approved ID is required to sit this.
