A Level Psychology

COURSE OVERVIEW

This specification highlights the scientific perspective within Psychology. There is a key emphasis on data, analyzing data and understanding how scientific research is conducted in Psychology. A Level Psychology introduces you to the range of research methods psychologists use to find out about human nature. You study five controversial issues relating to the study of Psychology including the reliability of eyewitness testimony. You also learn about conditioning techniques & how they shape our behaviour.

FURTHER INFORMATION

A minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 9/A* -; 4/C to include English Language and Science / Biology. Maths GCSE grade 5 is also needed. You will also be required to complete a GCSE to A Level Transition Project, prior to enrolment, to prepare you for A Level Psychology.
