Westgate Halls

Westgate Halls of Residence has superb self-catering or full board student accommodation for 160 students. All rooms are single en-suite with the option of standard or premium rooms, with some having been specifically designed to meet the needs of disabled students.

Westgate provides easy transport links to Brinsbury, Northbrook and Worthing College

Facilities

Self-catering and full-board are both available. Communal areas are cleaned daily and you’ll be responsible for the cleaning of your own room and en-suite facilities, along with being jointly responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen.

There are shared kitchen facilities in the flats which accommodate 6. There are a variety of communal facilities including a communal common room with TV, DVD player and Xbox console and games. Wifi is available throughout the halls.

Bedding is included and will be waiting in your room on your arrival. Cooking utensils and crockery are NOT provided and should be brought by you. We offer two types of starter packs that can be purchased before or on arrival. Please see the Kitchen Starter Pack leaflet for more information.

Membership to the on-site gym and fitness classes are also included in the accommodation package. This includes an induction to the gym.

Laundry facilities are available to all residents in Westgate Halls and an app-operated laundry with washers and dryers is located on the premises

Peace of mind

Westgate Halls of Residence is a secure and safe building with a swipe card entry system for each block, flat and individual room. There is a Halls Supervisor available between 8.30am and 10.00pm. After 10.00pm a Security Warden is on duty solely for the Halls of Residence.

HOLIDAY PERIODS

Westgate Halls is open throughout the academic year (September-June) as well as for summer School (June – August), which means that Westgate student residents can stay in Westgate over holiday periods (Christmas and Easter). If you intend to visit home you don’t need to take all your belongings with you.
