This nationally recognised qualification, franchised by the University of Portsmouth, offers a broad-based education in business. A foundation degree is the equivalent of two thirds of an honours degree. BA Hons Top Up Degree Year in Business
Chichester College’s BA (Hons) Business Top-up Degree is accredited by the University of Chichester.
It provides the opportunity for Higher National Diploma (L5) and Foundation degree students to achieve their full degree at Chichester College whilst working and/or balancing other commitments. This qualification has been designed with employers and based on current and future industry requirements to ensure that graduates are well-rounded, have good business acumen and can apply learning to the rapidly changing business environment. As a result, the qualification focuses on developing student’s practical application of theory to real business scenarios and build resilience within the business environment.
This qualification has been designed with students to achieve maximum flexibility and varied teaching methods through a ‘blended learning’ approach. There are no lectures on the programme, instead there are interactive sessions, online resources/tasks, work placement, independent research and 1:1 support. Our focus is to help you develop a real understanding of business in context and provide you with a supportive ‘practice ground’ before progressing your career. Your assignments will focus on your business subject interests, encompassing your workplace or case studies.
The qualification is delivered through workshops in the evening and some Saturdays, so can perfectly fit into your work schedule.
Chartered Managers Degree Apprentice
Successful completion of this three-year apprenticeship programme will lead to a BA (Hons) degree in Management Practice conferred by the OU and will also provide the opportunity to become a Chartered Manager. This will also open the door to study for a Post Graduate Professional Qualification.
The course is delivered as blended learning with the majority of the content delivered as distance learning using CCG Online, 8 face-to-face workshop sessions each year and face to face and online support from a team of academic lecturers, a workplace coach and an assessor.
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualifications give you the skills and knowledge to devise and execute marketing activities and gain marketing credibility from the International professional body CIM.
