Level 2
Welding – LASER Level 2 Award
COURSE OVERVIEW
The 3 main disciplines are MMA, MIG and TIG, and from this a range of options can be selected according to requirements.
The units in the nationally recognised LASER Awards are delivered as ‘stand-alone’; modules. Each discipline is taught over 10 weeks for 3 hrs per session. Five weld test pieces are to be produced which are non-destruct tested and destruct tested and a small portfolio is also to be completed by the end of the course.

Anyone with an interest in welding who has also completed the level 1 welding certificate.
You may use your new skills on a personal level or to help you gain employment.
You will be assessed through ongoing assessment of practical skills with a written portfolio for the theory.
Flame retardant overalls and safety footwear is required. All other PPE is supplied by us.
Full cost of the course is £545, to be paid at time of enrolment.
