COURSE OVERVIEW
The T Level in Health is a brand new and exciting level 3 course to be delivered from September 2025.
This qualification is equivalent to three A levels and will give you the key knowledge and experience to start a career in the health sector. A T Level in Health will enable you to apply to university or start work in a healthcare support role.
During your time on the course you will cover a range of topics such as Infection Control, Clinical Skills, Safeguarding, Health & Safety, communication to name just a few. You will undertake a work placement in a relevant health setting, to prepare you for employment as a frontline health care practitioner. This will be 315 hours spread over the duration of the course and will be in different settings. Placement times can vary according to the setting also.
The specification of this qualification has been mapped to the standards of health care services, meaning you will be well placed to embark on an exciting and rewarding career. You will build up your core knowledge and skills before specialising in a specific field of health.
The scope of the content which you will cover will be assessed through a mixture of externally set and marked examinations, case studies, practical assessments, professional discussions, and an employer set project.
