Develop professional body massage skills in a safe and competent environment. Successful completion will enable you to obtain professional insurance and work within the massage and wellbeing industry. Training combines practical techniques with relevant anatomy, physiology, and health and safety knowledge.

No previous experience in body massage is required. You will have a sound educational background, preferably with some knowledge of Human Biology, Anatomy or a related science. Allowance will be made for post-school experience. Attendance to all lessons is essential.
- Learn professional body massage techniques, anatomy, physiology, consultation skills, and health and safety practices.
Upon successful completion, you can work as a qualified body massage therapist and obtain professional insurance. The qualification can also provide progression to further complementary therapy courses, including Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, and Sports Massage.
Assessment includes practical observations, client feedback, and reflective practice. You will demonstrate your ability to perform body massage treatments on a range of clients. Knowledge and understanding will also be assessed through online examinations.
There is no requirement to buy kit or uniform for this course but you will need to wear smart and comfortable, plain black trousers, t-shirt and flat black shoes, trainers.
