No formal qualifications are required for this course, but a keen interest in the subject and a desire to learn are expected.

During your programme, you will take part in a range of learning activities, including Functional Skills in maths and English, as well as modules from the Gateway Entry 3 Award in Progression, such as budgeting, managing money, and career planning.

This course is open to all learners, we particularly welcome students who have been out of learning for a while.
- Taking part in sport and physical activity, understanding healthy lifestyles, working safely in sport.
On successful completion of the course and achievement in Level 1 in maths and English students will be able to progress onto the Level 1 Certificate in Sport or Public services.
There will be a range of assessment across the year including written, practical sessions and working on projects.
