COURSE OVERVIEW
Our dynamic Travel and Tourism department offers you the opportunity to study a range of units related to the Travel and Tourism industry and allows them to explore various avenues of work within this industry. You will gain skills that can be applied to the workplace or further study. The course is particularly suited to those who enjoy both written and practical coursework and who are looking to progress to a level 2 course or progress to employment. You will also study Maths and English alongside this course as part of your timetable. You will be studying: Unit 01 Customer Service (Semester 1) Unit 09 Holiday Sales (Semester 1) Unit 12 Working as a Team (Semester 2) Unit 13 Careers (Semester 2) Unit 02 Communication Skills (Semester 1) Unit 04 Hospitality (Semester 2)
FURTHER INFORMATION
Anyone with at least 2 x GCSE’s at grade 2 and above, preferably in Maths and English.
This course will prepare you for the NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism or the Level 2 Diploma in Cabin Crew In-Flight Services or an apprenticeship.
You will be graded with Pass, Merit or Distinction and will be assessed in a variety of ways such as written assignments, practical roles plays, presentations and blogs. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded.
A consumable course fee of £20 needs to be paid prior to enrolment for your course.
