Introduction in Health and Care (Entry 3)
COURSE OVERVIEW
During your programme, you will take part in a range of learning activities, including Functional Skills in maths and English, as well as modules from the Gateway Entry 3 Award in Progression, such as budgeting, managing money, and career planning. You will also focus on the Certificate in Health and Social Care, studying both theory and practical units. These will cover areas such as communication skills, safeguarding, equality and diversity, health and safety and supporting individuals with daily living activities.

This course is open to all learners, we particularly welcome students who have been out of learning for a while.
On successful completion of the course and achievement in Level 1 in maths and English students will be able to progress onto the Level 1 Certificate in Health, Social Care and Children and Young people.
There will be a range of assessment across the year including written, practical sessions and working on projects.
Students should bring pens and notebooks
