IMI L1 Dip Vehicle Maint (Motorcycle)
COURSE OVERVIEW
Looking for a career in the motor cycle industry or just have a passion for motor cycles? This course is designed to provide you with both the knowledge and practical experience required for you to progress towards employment and/or career progression in the motorcycle industry.
FURTHER INFORMATION
You will have an interest and enthusiasm for motorcycles. If you have not achieved at least GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English Language or the equivalent functional skill you will need to work towards this alongside your main qualification. You will have 85% attendance to all aspects of your study programme. You will be required to attend an interview with the Study Programme Leader.
The Level 1 Motorcycle course will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to progress onto a Level 2 Motorcycle qualification or into employment and potentially an Apprenticeship within Industry.
The course is broken down into units where you will have both practical and written assessments. The knowledge and technical evidence required will be tested by online exams.
There is a supplement fee payable prior to enrolment, which is £230 and this will cover tools and equipment. You will be required to provide your own safety shoes and overalls for the course.
Learners will need to come equipped with safety boots and overalls
