FURTHER INFORMATION
The course is suitable for applicants should typically be at least 18 years of age and have one of the following.
- Two A-levels; in maths and science subject.
- Level 3 Diploma in Engineering with passes at a minimum of merits.
- A suitable engineering level 3 apprenticeship.
- Appropriate work-based knowledge and competency.
Achieving a HNC in Engineering you will have direct access into employment in the engineering sector. It will also provide the option to top up to an HND and then onto an honours degree
Alternatively you may progress into higher employment within the Engineering sector.
Throughout the course, you’;ll be assessed in a variety of practical and engaging ways — including written reports, hands-on activities, group work, and presentations. Each method is carefully matched to the content of the unit to help you apply your learning in meaningful ways.
