Entry 3 – Foundation in Working within Digital Industries
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Foundation in Working within Digital Industries qualification has been developed to help to guide young people in developing their personal, social, and learning skills, whilst focusing on the digital industry.
Alongside this, we also allocate time for you to succeed in your Maths and English GCSEs (if needed), whilst developing your employability skills, and preparing you to make progress in your own learning practices.
Whatever your starting point, this course should help to support you in progressing to your next step, whether that be further learning, training, or work!
FURTHER INFORMATION
It is encouraged that all students have a passion for digital, although no prior knowledge or experience is required for this course.
Successful completion of this qualification could allow students to join the Progression courses at Level 1 study, although some candidates may proceed to a Level 2 pathway in the college, (subject to application and interview).
The individual units are assessed through a selection of assignments, which are marked, graded and discussed with each student.
The GCSE elements are assessed through coursework and examination in the summer period.
