BTEC Level 1 Introductory in Business
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is a skills-based qualification designed to help learners develop the personal and social skills needed to help them to progress to future employment or further vocational study whilst gaining their independence.
These new graded qualifications provide a broad introduction to the Business sector and give learners the opportunity to demonstrate increased skill levels.
Learners will develop the necessary transferable and sector skills to progress more quickly.
The Pearson BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Business has been designed around practical skills and tasks that place an emphasis on learners demonstrating what they can do rather than what they know in theory.

Entry Requirements – Grade 2 GCSE English Language and Maths.
You will need to have a passion for Business as well as the ability to contribute. With your passion and enthusiasm you will benefit from the programme.
This course along with the relevant Maths and English qualifications aims to prepare learners for further learning at a higher level in business. The development of transferable skills means that learners can for example progress to Level 2 Business or to an Apprenticeship.
Units are assessed using a grading scale of Distinction, Merit, Pass and Unclassified.
All units are 100% internally assessed with 20 optional units to choose from.
