As an apprentice you must be employed in a relevant industry.You should be able to demonstrate an interest in the motor vehicle trade as well as an ability to work in an organised and methodical way to identify and solve problems; also demonstrate an ability to communicate both orally and in writing.You will be interviewed by the college team to establish your suitability and to discuss the apprenticeship. As part of that interview, an aptitude test will be carried out along with English and maths assessments.
