Level 2

Accounting AAT Certificate Level 2

Apply

Entry requirements

If you have less than 12-months experience of working in an accounting office, we recommend that you study the AAT Level 1 in Bookkeeping first.
Accountants work at the very heart of a business and are expected to be able to communicate information clearly and appropriately to a given audience. Applicants therefore ideally should have achieved GCSE in Maths and English Language at grade 4 (C) or above. Students who have not achieved a Level 2 in English and Maths before they start the Level 2 AAT will be required to study Functional Skills in English / Maths alongside the accounting.
Applicants should note that having a Level 2 qualification in English language and maths is an entry requirement of the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting/ Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship.

Why choose this course?

Build strong accounting foundations through practical, tutor-led learning. You’ll develop confidence with key finance processes, digital tools and professional behaviours that support progression to higher AAT levels or entry-level finance roles across a wide range of sectors.
