About the programme

Our highly qualified and experienced staff are committed to ensuring that you’re offered the best possible learning experience across our extensive range of subjects, many of which are not available in local schools.

We support you with extensive resources including well equipped laboratories, a custom designed theatre, art studios, comprehensive up-to-date computer facilities and A-level specific study zones and computer facilities.

A-level Matrix 24-25

The A-level Matrix is a grid that enables you to choose your three subjects to study. Pick one subject per column to a maximum of three. Many subjects appear in more than one column to give you greater options to choose from.

We have also suggested subjects which work well together and lead you to certain career paths.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Alongside your A-levels, you can also opt for exciting qualifications to complement your studies and support entry to study higher education.

The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and the CREST Award give you the opportunity to research a subject or topic of your choice. You’ll be supported through input on research methods and tutorials as your project develops.

The EPQ develops independent research and study skills which many universities regard highly.

The CREST Award develops your practical project and teamwork skills. We also offer a range of mini qualifications to give you the competitive edge in reaching your future goals.

COLLEGE CONNECT – OUR NEW PARENT PORTAL

College Connect is our online portal for parents and carers which allows you to track the progress of your young person at college. You will be able to see what courses they are enrolled on, timetables, attendance data, mark book grades and progress reports. We also store any general communications with parents and carers on this site.

Parents and carers who have been identified as permitted contacts by students will be able to log on to College Connect to gain secure access to a range of live information.

Please note: College Connect is only available for parents/carers of A-level students. You will be contacted by email/letter if you are eligible.
