This course is for candidates who are required to undertake periodic inspection and testing of portable electrical appliances.
As this is a level three qualification, applicants for this course will need to prove competence before enrolling: This can be demonstrated either by sending in copies of electrical qualifications achieved or evidence of suitability to attend (Letter from Employer).

Electrical Installation Requirements (2382: 2018 18th Edition)
This course is designed to qualify electricians to the current 2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations; this full version of the course is designed for all candidates.
This course will cover in depth, the complete 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, how to use the wiring regulations, applying the wiring regulations and examination practice. The final assessment is by an externally set computer-based exam.
Inspection and Testing Certification (2391-52: Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing)
It is expected that candidates have a basic knowledge and understanding of the current BS 7671 Regulations, electrical science and principles. It would also be expected that candidates have experience of electrical installation work either within the electrical contracting industry or an allied trade.
