Chichester College inspires future creatives
Recently Chichester College attended the Creative Industries Career Day, hosted at the Chichester Festival Theatre and Pallant House Gallery.
The event was designed to help students of various ages – from 13 right up to adult university graduates – discover more about career paths in creative industries.
They met artists, designers, tattooists, theatre-makers and writers to find out about the range of careers on offer, as well as taking part in a selection of workshops and talks, which included an acting workshop run by the College.
Chichester College Group was well represented – with teams in attendance to promote training opportunities – from apprenticeships to prestigious creative arts degrees offered at Northbrook College.
The event was held in partnership with Chichester Festival Theatre, Pallant House Gallery, Chichester College Group and Creative County West Sussex.
Paul Rolfe, Associate Principal for Employers and Stakeholders at Chichester College Group, said:
“Events like these are invaluable for inspiring the next generation of young people. It’s fantastic to see students engaging with industry professionals, exploring career pathways, and gaining hands-on experience through workshops.
“The creative sector offers a wealth of opportunities, and we’re proud to support our students in taking their first steps towards exciting and fulfilling careers.”
