Results joy for Chichester College A-level students
It was a day of celebration for students at Chichester College, as they arrived to collect their results on Thursday (18 August).
The college was buzzing as students arrived, nervously awaiting their A-level, T Level or vocational results.
And for some it was an emotional experience. Jonathan Keyte was overwhelmed to discover he had achieved a haul of three A* grades – enough to ensure his place at Cambridge University, where he’ll study law, is safe. He credited the team at the college for their help in getting him there.
He said: “I’m made up – it’s absolutely unreal.
“After my GCSEs I became quite ill and had to take a year out. Chichester College was amazing in helping me to get back on my feet – none of this would have been possible without my tutors and lecturers. They gave me the tools I needed!”
Madison Daniel was also excited to discover she had achieved two A grades and one A*, securing her place at King’s College to study history.
She revealed: “I’m so chuffed! I was really nervous for these results, but they turned out to be good so I’m happy!
“I had so much fun at Chichester, I loved it so much and I’m so excited now.”
And Elliot is looking forward to heading to the Midlands to study maths at Birmingham, after achieving two As (in economics and maths) and an A* in business: “I don’t know what to say,” he added. “I wanted to do well, but I didn’t think I would – studying at Chichester has clearly paid off!”
