Academy side felled by Slough

A dominant Slough side travelled to Nyewood Lane to face Bognor’s Under 19s, playing as part of Chichester College Academy.
Slough made a strong start to the game, holding most of the possession in the opening half hour and Bognor couldn’t get out of their own half at times.
On the 13th minute, Slough’s Sashon Aird-munn got yellow carded for a late tackle on Eliot Millman.
Both teams couldn’t get any clear-cut chances, with the deadlock remaining even after Slough were awarded with a penalty for a handball by Josh Sandford, but Ted Woodisse put it wide.
Shortly before half-time, on the 39th minute, Sashon Aird-munn finally got the goal that Slough was looking for.

Slough continued holding most of the possession in the opening 10 minutes of the second half although they struggled to create any chances.
Slough had the ball in the net in the 53rd minute, which was given offside and ruled out.
Moment’s later Bognor’s Toby Wasl had a great chance to equalise but he fluffed his lines.
Then, on the 68th minute, Slough took advantage of an opening and Oliver Holmes gave them a second goal to double their lead.
Not long after, Ollie Claire had a wonderful chance to get one back for Bognor but he couldn’t convert it and the score remained the same.
