Help Us Go Around the World in 30 Days

15 November 2020

Walk, run or cycle to help Chichester College win prizes in a national challenge.

The college’s sports department are inviting staff and students from across all areas of the college to join the Association of Colleges (AoC) Sport’s ‘Round the World in 30 Days’ challenge as part of your daily fitness regime.

You can use the miles you clock up on your walk, run or cycle to help win prizes for college.

What is the ‘Round the World in 30 Days’ challenge?

Round the World in 30 Days is an inclusive run, walk and cycling challenge using the free Strava app, which sees colleges tasked with collectively reaching 46,975 miles in just 30 days.

There is a national leaderboard, which will show how many miles each college has contributed to the national total – and prizes are up for grabs!

Three prizes will be awarded to the colleges who contribute the most miles and all colleges who record 200 activities will also be entered into a prize draw.

All you need to do is download the Strava app, search for and join the Chichester College clubs (either running and cycling clubs – or both) and start your Strava before each activity. This will then automatically load into the Chichester College Strava club!

Every activity and distance covered counts, no matter how short it is.

How do I get involved?
