Skills Bootcamp in Social Care (Standard Pathway)
COURSE OVERVIEW
This bootcamp is designed to be supportive, hands-on, and full of real-world insight. Whether you’re completely new to care or looking to strengthen your current experience, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to grow, learn, and connect with others who share your passion for helping people
Our course will be delivered over a 16 week programme and will be located at the Chichester college campus.
The qualification will comprise of significant qualifications favoured in the industry to include
- Safeguarding
- Behaviour that challenges
- Care certificate
- College certificate Mapped to level 3 Children and young peoples practioners Standard.

You will be eligible to apply for this bootcamp if you –
- are aged over 19
- have the right to work in the UK
- Meet residency requirements
- live in west Sussex
Progression from bootcamp –
Participants will benefit from access to job search support and services, masterclasses and visits from our established employer network.
Our team of sector focused apprenticeships advisors will be available for further guidance and information.
The delivery model will take accounts of the target audience and provide a blended programme alongside significant time spent in the health simulation suite for practical work related learning activities.

Skills Bootcamps are Government funded training programmes available to eligible adults (19+). If you are applying as an individual there is no fee. If your employer is sponsoring you they will be required to make a contribution. See Skills Bootcamps page on our website for further details.
