Sewing for Advanced Beginners
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is for anyone that has attended the Sewing for Beginners Part 1 or 2 courses or they have good Sewing skills and would like to develop, improve and learn new skills and techniques.

Suitable for students that have good sewing and needlework skills
Learners may wish to progress further onto other creative courses within the College.
Continuous classroom assessment based on Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement (RARPA).
Course fee: £190
You don’;t need to bring in anything for the first lesson.
You will need to purchase your fabric for your own sewing project.
Suggested items for your personal sewing kit:
- HP pencil/ sharpener/ eraser
- Measuring tape for dressmaking
- Tailor’;s chalk
- Fabric and paper scissors
- Metal ruler/ right angle ruler
- Pattern master
- Dressing pins/ sewing needles
- Machine sewing thread
- Seam ripper
