Level 1 Diploma in Art, Design & Media
COURSE OVERVIEW
This fun and lively programme offers you an introduction to a wide range of skills, media and technologies aimed to develop your creative and practical experience in art and design. It also encourages you to develop the personal skills and attributes needed to gain confidence in your work and ability.

You can join this course if you have a lively and enquiring mind, a genuine interest in art, design & media related careers, a willingness to explore ideas and achieve progressive goals. You will also need a portfolio of artwork showing evidence of your creative ability.
By the end of the course, you will have an exciting and stimulating portfolio of work that will demonstrate a broad range of art, design and media skills. This will allow you to progress to a higher level course.
This course is delivered over one academic year and you will have 15 hours per week of contact time with your lecturers.
This course is structured into units which provide a total amount of credits. You will be provided with one to one feedback and set targets at the end of each project.
