HR Support Apprenticeship L3
COURSE OVERVIEW
This is a foundation level apprenticeship for any learner new to the world of people practice or wishing to return to academic life after a break. The apprenticeship and CIPD Foundation certificate in People Practice are delivered simultaneously. Apprentices will learn about the knowledge, skills and behaviours associated with effective people management.
The HR Support Level 3 apprenticeship provides an ideal route for motivated individuals to begin their professional journey in People Practice. Throughout this 13-month programme, you will gain practical skills and insight into how the People function supports an organisation, its culture and people -; as well as developing a deep understanding of how your role supports colleagues as well as overall businesses goals.
The course runs on a Wednesday evening 4.30-8.30pm face to face at Chichester College OR on Thursday afternoon from 1-5pm online ONLY -; these times include apprentice tutorials.
Start dates for the next academic year are:
Wednesday evenings:
September 2024 start – Induction 4-7pm on Wednesday 11th September. Classes will start from 18th September 4.30pm to 8.30pm.
November 2024 start -; Induction and class 4pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 13th November.
January 2025 start – Induction 4-7pm on Wednesday 8th January 2025, then classes start on Wednesday 15th January.
February 2025 start -; Induction and class 4pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 26th February or 1-4pm Thursday 27th February online.
Thursday afternoons:
September 2024 start – Induction 1-4pm on Thursday 12th September online. Classes will start online from Thursday 19th September 1-5pm.
November 2024 start -; Induction and class 1-5pm Thursday 14th November online.
January 2025 start – Induction 1-4pm Thursday 9th January online, then classes start online from Thursday 16th January 1-4pm.
February 2025 start -; Induction and class 1-4pm Thursday 27th February online.

Possible progression into higher level apprenticeships and potential continuous employment in company.
You will be assessed through work based assignments and complete an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of the course, this consists of a project and a professional discussion.
There is no cost to an apprentice.
If you are an employer employing an apprentice over the age 21 (without an EHCP) then you are likely to pay 5% towards the training cost.
If you are an employer with an Apprenticeship levy (i.e. your payroll exceeds £3 Million) then you will pay in full from your levy account.
You will need to be a student member of the CIPD for the duration of the apprenticeship. Cost of membership is approx. £145.00. This will need to be in place by the end of week 4 of the course.
