Creative Media Technology BSc (Hons) Top Up
COURSE OVERVIEW
Are you ready to make the jump up to a full degree in Creative Media?
On this one year top-up course, you’ll enhance your Creative Multimedia with Journalism HND by topping it up with a full BSc (Hons) Creative Media Technologies degree that we offer in partnership with the University of Portsmouth.
Delivered solely at CCG’;s Chichester campus, the course will help you hone your creative and technical skills and give you the professional knowledge you need for a successful career. You’ll use the same software packages that professionals use in industry, and develop the skills you need to create quality content across all forms of media. When you complete the course, you’ll be ready to take on work in areas such as TV production, journalism, animation, social media, marketing, film and the wider digital broadcasting industry.
The BSc (Hons) Creative Media Technologies course comprises of 6 modules and they are:
- Creative Media Project
- Communication Design
- Future Technologies
- Documentary Filmmaking
- Vocational Project Portfolio
- Digital Photography & Online Applications

- Successful completion of the 2-year HND Creative Multi-Media with Journalism
English language requirements
- English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.0 with no component score below 5.5.

How you’re assessed You’;ll be assessed through: •practical projects •written reports •oral presentations •artefacts and other media You’;ll be able to test your skills and knowledge informally before you do assessments that count towards your final mark. You can get feedback on all practice and formal assessments so you can improve in the future.
