Creative Media Production & Technology Level 2 Diploma
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course has been developed in response to changes within media industries and university courses. You will have the opportunity to combine theory and practical tasks in an exciting and stimulating way, developing yourself as an individual media producer as well as gaining a sound understanding of professional practice within modern media.
Subject areas within this course include the print industry, film production, animation & motion design, app design & interactive media, tv advertising, audio broadcasting and industry studies.

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above in order to gain entrance on to this course. No previous media experience is required, although it is desirable.
This course provides you with many different creative skills across many different media disciplines. You will gain diverse Adobe software skills providing you with a broad knowledge base that will enable you to progress to higher creative courses in creative media, photography, graphics or animation.
Your units are assessed on a Pass, Merit and Distinction basis, with all but two of the units being internally marked. You will be assessed via ongoing assessments and a media portfolio.
