First update (Thursday 2 May, 5.45pm)
Access to the front of the college has been closed this evening (Thursday 2 May 2024) following severe damage to a tree.

There will be no access via the drive at the front of the college (off the Avenue De Chartres) while urgent work takes place. The entrance will be closed with immediate effect. It’s hoped the drive will reopen in the morning.

The college has been in contact with Chichester District Council, and has been given permission to carry out this work urgently.

It’s believed the tree was damaged during last night’s storms and it in a dangerous condition.

Sadly, the tree will be removed due to its condition. The college has explored every option but action needs to taken urgently to ensure public safety due to the danger of the tree falling.
