COURSE OVERVIEW
The course is for you if you work in kitchens or are involved in the processing, preparation or retailing of food.
Legislation places an obligation on food business proprietors to ensure that food production is carried out in a hygienic way and to identify and control critical food safety hazards. All food handlers must be supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene matters to a level appropriate to their job. You will gain an accredited qualification form RSPH upon successfully completing this course.
FURTHER INFORMATION
You do not need any previous qualifications or experience, however a good standard of English, reading, written, and listening skills are required.
This qualification will give you the knowledge to comply with current legislation when working within the catering industry. You may also wish to progress to the RSPH Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering.
You will be assessed via an externally set, 30 question, 40 minute exam taken on the day.
