EDX L4 HN Flex Leadership and Management Unit 8 – Digital Business in Practice
COURSE OVERVIEW
As businesses across industries digitise their operations and processes, digital skills are highly valued by employers. Developing digital skills -; ranging from data analysis to digital design, digital marketing and customer relationship management -; is vital for progression in higher education but, crucially, also aids employability in a vast array of roles in the business environment. In today’;s world, new technologies play an increasingly important role in the economy and in society. To remain competitive, businesses need to continually update and upskill their workers’; competence. There is also a responsibility and onus on individuals to keep up to date with the changing digital landscape. In this unit students will explore the impact of a range of digital technologies on the workplace.

This HNC Business course attracts a diverse range of learners from a range of backgrounds, some maybe returning to education. Our typical entry requirements are:
- GCE A’; Levels or Level 3 Diploma or an Extended Diploma (Overall Merit)
- Relevant work experience
- GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade 4/C or above
- English as a second language at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

After completion of the module you can complete another single module or you can enrol on the full HNC or HND. This module will be used towards completion of the qualification.
You will be assessed through assignment work which will be varied for each unit. You will be supported through all of these with 1-1 formative assessment sessions for each unit.
