You will support our dedicated team responsible for the day-to-day care of a sizeable teaching collection of animals, housed in a new animal management centre at Chichester College’s Brinsbury Campus. This rewarding role includes providing technical support to staff and students across a range of courses and levels. You may be required to supervise duty students at weekends. Qualified to level 3 in a relevant subject (for example the Extended Diploma in Animal Management), you will have significant experience of working in an animal care environment. The ability to respond to a flexible working environment and act on initiative is essential. You will be required to drive College vehicles so will need to be over 21 years of age and have held a full driving license for at least 2 years.

This is a fixed term position for one academic year.

You will also be responsible for a small team of Assessor/Instructors who deliver programmes entirely in the workplace.

Suitable applicants will be occupationally competent in Warehousing or BIT and have experience of managing a caseload of candidates and assessors.
