St Christopher’s is a purpose-built student residence approximately 15 minutes walk from the Chichester campus. It is conveniently located close to a large supermarket and leisure centre. The city centre is only a further 5 minutes walk from the campus. Accommodation in Chichester is provided for 68 students in fully-furnished flats and houses. Each flat or house contains between two and five bedrooms. Each bedroom has an internet connection facility. Water rates are included in the price, however Gas and Electric for these properties are on key/card meters both these being the responsibility of the students to credit. Residents in each flat/house share a modern kitchen/diner with a cooker, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There are car parking spaces on site for the use of students and their visitors. A warden lives on site and is available to assist you with your accommodation needs between the hours of 6.00pm and 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday (times subject to change with notice).
Students are required to provide their own cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, towels and bedding (i.e. duvet, pillow and bed linen). Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the buildings. Kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas are cleaned at the end of each term. Overall daily cleaning is the responsibility of the students sharing the accommodation. Students are expected to keep the property in good order.
There is a security guard on site Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm to 2am.
