What is Train To Gain and how can it help my business?

Train To Gain websiteTrain to Gain is a nationwide government initiative. By providing financial support for certain recognised vocational courses the train to gain team at Chichester College can help businesses by ensuring that staff have the right skills to do the best job.

In these days of fierce competition and economic pressures your business will have a better chance of success if you have highly trained, competent staff. The Train to Gain service is designed to help businesses get the training they need to improve their productivity and competitiveness - often at NO COST to either employer or employee

To be eligible for Train to Gain funding employees must be 19+ and not have a degree – other criteria may apply for specific levels / courses. It’s a great opportunity – read on to find out more.

How can we help you access this training?

We can:

  • carry out training needs analysis
  • advise on and source suitable training solutions
  • arrange flexible and responsive delivery of training
  • arrange funding for an employees first full Level 2 qualification
  • arrange Skills for Life training
  • contribution to wage costs may be available for companies with less than 50 employees – we can help confirm eligibility for this
