What is an NVQ?

An NVQ is a nationally recognised qualification. We deliver over 30 different NVQs in areas ranging from Hospitality to Horticulture, Management to Motor Vehicle, Healthcare to Hairdressing and Construction to Retail.

All NVQs are delivered in the workplace – some completely, others have a minimal amount of attendance in college.

• They raise the skill level of your employees
• They formalise employee knowledge and understanding
• There may be some financial support for fees – see Train to Gain
• Training is in the workplace at a time that meets employer needs thus minimising disruption to your business
• Qualified Assessors support the candidates, their development and building their portfolio of evidence. They share their expertise with the candidate but put it in the context of your business.
