Advanced Playwork Apprenticeship (Level 3)

This framework provides an integrated programme of on and off the job learning to achieve the level 3 Diploma in Play Work (NVQ) - this is recognised by Ofsted/CWDC as ‘full and relevant’.  Learners will attend weekly day release at college covering subjects including Professional Practice & Play Work Principles, Play Theory, Safe Working Practice and Equality and Diversity.  Work-based assessments take place with a college assessor, who mentors and guides the learner, providing constructive feedback on their practice to encourage reflection and enabling them to develop provision.  The framework includes essential skills including Maths and English all at level 2, in addition to an Employment Rights and Responsibilities Award.
