
Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care
Health sector pathway for Advanced level Apprenticeship. This framework provides an integrated programme of on and off the job learning to achieve the level 3 Diploma in Health & Social care (Adults) and Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care. Work-based assessments take place with a college assessor, who mentors and guides the learner, providing meaningful feedback on their practice and enabling them to develop within their role. The framework includes essential skills including Maths and English at level 2, in addition to a Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and rights in Health.

When will the Apprenticeship start?
There are three entries per annum: September, January and April
How long will it take?
Apprentices will have 25 months to complete their qualifications
What are the entry requirements?
Learners will be working in the Care sector unsupervised and allocate work to staff, supervise work and adjust workloads. They will also complete service user/patient/client records for care. Learners will need to have an Enhanced CRB check which is organised by the employers.
