Apprenticeship: Advanced Level Apprenticeship in the Electrotechnical Industry

There are two pathways for this framework:

1. Electrical Installation Pathway
Covers: installing, testing, inspecting and commissioning electrotechnical systems and equipment in the buildings, structures and the environment. 

2. Electrical Maintenance pathway 
Covers: maintenance and servicing of the Electrotechnical systems and equipment

Qualification: 

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment)

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance)
The Awarding Body is City and Guilds

January / September

How long will the apprenticeship take?

3 ½ years

What are the entry requirements for Electrotechnical apprenticeships?

A – C in Maths and English
