Advanced Children’s Care Learning & Development (Level 3)
This framework provides an integrated programme of on and off the job learning to achieve the level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (this is recognised by Ofsted/CWDC as ‘full and relevant’). Learners will attend weekly day release at college covering subjects including Child Development, Health and Safety, Professional Practice, Communication and Equality and Diversity. Work-based assessments take place with a college assessor, who mentors and guides the learner, providing constructive feedback on their practice to encourage reflection and enabling them to develop provision. The framework includes essential skills including Maths, English and ICT all at level 2, in addition to an Employment Rights and Responsibilities Award.
