About Our Training Courses
Checkatrade
"I started my career within the training and development arena, qualifying at Chichester College in 2000 after attendance on the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice. In 2007, I was appointed HR Manager at Checkatrade, my aim was to develop my knowledge and skills in the field of HR, enabling me to advise, develop and proactively support the business, and to satisfy my own personal development goals.
Over the past 3 years, supported by my employer, I have attended Chichester College on a part time basis, achieving the CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice, Chichester College Certificate in Post Graduate Study Skills, and the CIPD Post Graduate Diploma in HRM. The learning I have derived from each course has enabled me to obtain academic knowledge and to improve my practical skills, developing my career, my confidence and improving the HR practices within the organisation.
I highly recommend Chichester College, the teaching staff and would like to acknowledge the support I have been given as a student for the last 3 years."

We have worked with Chichester College for a number of years now and have accessed various types of training to suit our business needs. The team at Chichester College are always keen to go the extra mile and find a solution to meet our diverse requirements. Recently we had a need for bespoke Microsoft Office 10 training, which could only be sourced in London and which was very expensive. After meeting with Lisa Cartwright – one of Chichester College’s Business Advisers, she quickly sourced a very able and competent trainer who was not only willing to cover exactly where our gaps were, but was also more than willing to come out to our premises to deliver the training. We would definitely continue to use Chichester College as one of our preferred Training Suppliers.

With the growth of our successful operation in the UK, we took the strategic decision to bring to the UK a major woodworking operation, which had previously been based in Scandinavia.
This involved moving and re-situating a significant amount of machinery and processes, and recruiting and training a large number of staff in Worthing – some of which had woodworking experience many of who did not! Very early in the project we identified a need for Health and Safety related bespoke training for our incoming workforce.
Over the past few months, we have undertaken a series of training interactions, delivered on our site at times to suit us by highly experienced staff from Chichester College.
We have found the training to be highly successful and fully intend to continue our learning partnership relationship with Chichester College.
