OCN Access to Sports Studies Level 3

Access to Sports Science is an applied academic course with core elements underpinning socio-historical, anatomical, physiological and psychological aspects of sport. Students will have the option of completing an English, Maths or Science GCSE whilst on the course. It is usually advised that students only attempt one GCSE as an addition because the Access course is full time and students may not cope well with more than one.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements to join an Access Course. However, applicants do need to complete a successful interview with one of the tutors teaching the Access Programme.
