About Floristry

About Course Image

There’s much more to being a florist than simply having a love of all things floral! Our students work out of our Brinsbury Campus in the heart of the spectacular West Sussex countryside learning essential skills needed to make any floristry business a success. Anyone looking for a career in this exciting and ever expanding industry needs to know all aspects of design, knowledge of flowers and flower care, as well as those all important business skills such as basic accounting, marketing and working with others. Chichester College floristry students often carry away the prizes at internationally renowned horticultural competitions such as the Chelsea Flower Show thanks to the standard of teaching as well as the creative and dynamic learning atmosphere. They are rightfully proud of their achievements.

National Certificate in Floristry

I come from Littlehampton and I chose Chichester College as I liked what I saw at the Brinsbury campus. I am learning so many knew things that I wouldn’t learn in a shop. The lecturers are really understanding and helpful which creates a nice atmosphere and everyone is happy. I have done well this year and will be returning to do the Level 3 course in September. After that I’m not sure; there may be the opportunity of progressing to Level 4 or I may choose to work in the industry. Chichester College is so well organised I would recommend it to anyone.
